CatapultCONNECT integrates data from your student information system (SIS). That way when new students or staff join or leave your school, they automatically update in CatapultCONNECT and you can send messages to your current students' contacts and staff.
If you need to manually add staff to CatapultCONNECT, you can do that too (see Manage users).
If you need to manually add recipients, you can also do that (see Manage Custom Imports).
Regardless of your set up, CatapultK12 assists to ensure everyone is in the system and your staff know how to use it.
Integrate with Aeries (student information system)
If your school uses Aeries to manage student data, then setup is minimal: create an Aeries Cert with access to the necessary data and share those details with your CatapultK12 contact. For specific instructions, see Aeries API integration (CatapultCONNECT/CatapultEMS)
After setup, CatapultCONNECT checks Aeries for any updates each night.
Integrate with ClassLink's roster server
If your school syncs data to the ClassLink roster server, see ClassLink integration.
Integrate with PowerSchool
If your school uses PowerSchool we recommend using the export plugin.
Integrate with any other system
CatapultCONNECT can integrate with any student information system or human resources system using CSV files. For full details, see Tips for SIS export.
After setup, CatapultCONNECT receives any updates each night via a secure upload (SFTP). If you use CatapultCONNECT to send attendance alerts, make sure to upload an attendance within 5 minutes of the attendance alert time.
